After Parker's self-cut on Wednesday, we went to get a professional cut, before dance class on Thursday! We were in need of a quick service. We tried the Cook Kids Cut Place and they had a 45 minute wait. So we headed over to Great Clip (which was probably half the price of the Kids Specialty place) which was just down the road from the dance studio. I told them to cut it as short as possible, but to where I could still put her hair in a bun (she likes her hair in a bun for dance, like a real ballerina.) It is still very uneven and I will have to continue to get it cut until it is completely evened out, but definitely looks much better and much healthier!
Haircut done & ready for dance class!
Later that day Parker had soccer practice! She is actually doing well, trying hard, and no tears!! It is the only time that I can convince her to wear shorts! She has the cutest lil' tiny hiney and it looks adorable in shorts!
She added the random purple clip on the side without my input!
she looks SO grown up in this picture!
Parker with her American Girl Doll (the whole reason she cut her hair in the first place...right??)
Meet the teacher was on Friday morning. We didn't really NEED to meet the teacher because we already know her. She was Kegan's teacher when he was in the 4 year old preschool class. She lives in our neighborhood and her daughter has been in the same class as Parker since she was 2. But we went because Parker can't wait to go back to school. We were going to run in and say HI for like 5 minutes then get our errands done for the day. We we went in and chatted with everyone for about an hour and 10 minutes!
Parker and Ms. Karima...we LOVE her!
Parker and one of her BFFs that she has been in class with since they were 2! They have also taken dance class and cheer camp together!
