Family Fun!

This past week was crazy, busy, and tiring (just like the beginning of school always is!)  We decided to have a family date night on Saturday night since we had not spent a lot of time together during the week. We went to a little place by our house called Fun Zone and played Mini Golf. This was Kegan and Parker's first time for Mini Golf.  Kegan was pretty good at it! Parker was just like her mommy (she started off strong but half way through she was hot and ready to go home.) It was LOTS of fun though! 

Kegan also got to do something NEW!  He got to drive the Jr. Go Carts!  He had so much fun and thought he was Big Stuff (it was a good thing he was the only one on the track at the time because he was all over the place!  After all the outdoor fun we played games inside!

Chaos!

Kegan is going to play Soccer this fall!  And his team name is CHAOS! I am sure the name is going to be very fitting for his team! He had his first practice this past Saturday and loved it!  He keeps saying that he can't wait until next Saturday...I strongly agree with that!  Here is a picture of him before practice!

He is so big!  We took him shopping for clothes the other day and had to buy him size 6 (in the big kids section!) Seriously...a 6 IN BIG KIDS! My baby boy is getting too big!  He is the best big brother (at least Parker thinks so~!)  She will do ANYTHING he tells her to.  She copies and repeats everything he does and says!  I love how much fun they have together (although sometimes it gets them into trouble!)

One last funny story....
The other day we had some men working in our house.  They were replacing part of our ceiling due to some water damage we had from our leaking air conditioner.  One of the men had been trying to talk to Bailey (the dog)  who was having none of it.  The man looked at Kegan and said, "Bailey is old, huh?"  Kegan replies, "it's OK my Grandma is old too!"

Summer is Over!

What a WONDERFUL summer it was!! We had so much fun seeing family and spending lots of time with friends!  I am so thankful that I have a job that I love and that allows me to have the summer off to spend so much fun time with my kids! Tomorrow starts my first full week back to work for this school year! I am excited and sad all at the same time!

Aloha!

Kyle and I spent 7 WONDERFUL days in Kauai!! We went to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary! We stayed in a condo with a beautiful view! We took a helicopter tour of the island.  It was SOOOO BEAUTIFUL (but also made us a little nauseous!) We hiked the Kalalau Trail which is a trail along the Na Pali Coast.  We ended at a beautiful beach!  We also did some kayaking, lots of walking and beach time!  We ate at many delicious restaurants but one especially good one for our anniversary!  We look forward to taking the kids one day!
