What a Weekend!

This past Tuesday (January 11th) was Kegan's 5th Birthday! Can you believe it my sweet baby boy turned 5?

On Tuesday, Kegan, Parker and Grandma came up to my work and we ordered pizza (Kegan's favorite) for lunch to celebrate his big day!

 That night we had his "home birthday!"  Grandma made him a Spiderman Cake! And he got to open a few presents!

His birthday party was Saturday and we were so excited because lots of family came to celebrate with us.  Nana and Bomp & Keith and Olivia came from San Antonio, Mimi and Joe came from Houston, Karrie and Kevin came from New York and Brooke came from Austin! We hadn't seen Kevin in over a year and were hadn't seen Karrie since last March! 

Kegan's birthday party was at a gym called WIN KIDS.  All the kids had a blast.  Notice that there were 10 girls and 1 boy in attendance! Yes, Kegan was the only boy at his own birthday party!

On Sunday, Keith and Olivia and Nana and Bomp had to go back to San Antonio. :(   Later that day,  the girls (Mimi, Aunt Karrie, Parker and myself) went to get pedicures! It was so much fun and Parker got the cutest little design painted on her toe nails!

 It was a great weekend despite the fact that Parker got pink eye in BOTH eyes!  I just pray no one in our family or friends at the party gets it!

Snow Day

We didn't think that we were going to see any snow this year but today we got a big surprise. We woke up and it was very dark and rainy and but by 11am giant snowflakes were falling! It was so fun to see Kegan and Parker so excited. They enjoyed a snowball fight and even built a mini snowman. Then the fun ended in tears when Parker took off her gloves and touched the snow. She was crying because her hands were cold. I took her inside and put her in the bathtub then she cried because her hands hurt. (She is so much like her momma.) I hate the cold! After Kegan and parker took a hot bath they enjoyed a cup of hot chocolate. (actually, Kegan drank the hot chocolate and Parker ate the marshmallows!)

We had a long & fabulous Christmas Break! We spent the first week in San Antonio and  the second week at home!  We are sad to see it come to an end.  We enjoyed the company of many friends and family.  Happy New Year from our family to yours!
