Kindergarten

Today was Kegan's first day of Kindergarten. All the cliches entered my mind about how fast they grow up and don't blink stuff.  Kyle and I were able to drop him off together!  Kegan was a little nervous so we didn't have time to be sad....we had to put on a brave face for him!  After a little coaxing he put his things in his cubby and sat down at a table with some other boys.  He said he favorite part of the day was recess and he really liked eating lunch in the cafeteria! Looks like we are off to a great academic start! hehe!
He let me monogram his lunchbox and his backpack. I thought he was going to tell me he was to old for that. But I will do it as long as he will let me!

The picture he drew of himself has a smiley face so it must have been a good day!

What Summer??

It seems like school just let out for the summer and now it already time to start back to school.  It has been quite a while since I have updated the blog...we have been a little busy. We have been trying to squeeze SO MANY things into a very short amount of time.  Here LOTS of pics of the past month and a half!
Parker playing dress up...she pretty much changes 25 times a day! A tiara goes with every outfit/costume!

Aunt Karrie came to San Antonio for her 10 year high school reunion, so I took both kids to see her!

My BFF, Marci, had her twins on July 19th! They are perfect!

Grandma took Kegan and Parker to Illinois while we were packing, closing on our new house, and starting to move. It was so nice to be able to get things done while they were away! But of course we were thrilled once they got back home; the new home was too quiet without them!
Parker was "Aunt Su Su's girl" while she was there!

Kegan and his buddy Uncle Ronnie on one of his MANY MACHINES!

Kegan and Parker went to play with their cousins Camden and Ashlyn one day! (I love that P has a bow on while she is swimming!!!)

Picnic!

Kegan and Camden are only 6 days apart!

ANOTHER MACHINE!

Parker and Grandma!

visiting Aunt Thelma....so sweet!

LOVE THIS PIC! not edited at all! he would move there if we would let him!

Telling Aunt Su Su and Uncle Ronnie good-bye!

Lia and Rokas with K & P

Kegan and Parker got to go visit "Traci's Twins." They had seen Traci at Thanksgiving when "she had two babies in her tummy!"  (about Parker's hair in this pic...I was told she got into Aunt Su Su's hair spray and tried to style her own hair!)

Kegan and Parker went to Vacation Bible school at our church!
Parker went to Dance class on Mondays (the ones she was in town for.) She really loved dance class, but I am not sure if it was the dance part or the dance outfit part?!
Kegan talked me into making him a superhero cape one night, so of course Parker had to have one too!

Kegan had a sleepover with two of his new friends on our street! This was the next morning. One of the boys took off his shirts to sleep, so the other two had to follow! Such lil men!
My friend Ginny's daughter, Aubrie, and Parker. (Ginny and I both lived in our previous neighborhood.) I took them to the splash park in our new neighborhood! Parker looks up to Aubrie and loves to play with her!

My friend, Jennifer's daughter, Avery, Celebrated her 6th birthday!
Kegan and Avery are going to get married!

Parker with the girls

Me, Ginny and Jennifer-we all used to teach at the same school but now are at 3 different schools :(

Grandma took K&P to the Butterfly Gardens with some friends

Parker got a Build-A-Bear gift card for her birthday back in March.  None of us had ever been so we went and tried it out! Kegan got a bear and dressed him in a military uniform.  Parker got a Pink Hello Kitty....it HAD to be pink!

Precious!

Despite the look on Kegan's face he loved Build-A-Bear!
