Easter Weekend

What a fun weekend! Mimi and Joe came in town on Friday evening (Good Friday.) On Friday night, Kegan AND Parker spent the night at the hotel with Mimi and Joe! This is a first. Usually Kegan spends the night at the hotel, but Parker has always "been too little."  Now that she is a "big girl" she really wanted to go.  I think this might be have been the first AND the last time that they BOTH stay at the hotel!  They took forever to go to sleep and woke up very early Saturday morning!  Mimi and Joe were a little tired the following day! Kegan and Parker were ready to swim at the hotel! It was very windy but they of course had a blast!  After a good nap (by all) on Saturday we went to Rockfish for dinner and then came home a dyed Easter eggs!  After church on Sunday morning we had an had an egg hunt and Parker painted the sidewalk (and herself) with her new sidewalk paint from Mimi!!  Aunt Brooke and Grandma came over Sunday afternoon and of course we had to have another egg hunt!  What a great weekend!

Weekend Fun

Saturday morning Parker finally got to go to the Dentist for the very first time! She was excited because that is what “Big Girls” do but she was also a little nervous. She didn’t get her X-rays taken (because she didn’t want to) but Kegan didn’t let them do his until his most recent visit so I don’t think it is big deal!

Our dentist office is called The Dental Depot and is majorly themed out! We love the dentist and all the staff that works there. Plus you have a built in bribe incentive; If you do a good job, then you get to play on the train afterward!

 After the dentist, we went to a friend’s 4th birthday party…it was a skating party. You may remember how stressful the last skating party was so I made Daddy go with us this time. Parker put skates on long enough for me to take a few pictures and then she was pretty much done (she didn’t even attempt to go out onto the floor…the carpet was good enough for her.) Kegan did skate around the floor with Kyle’s help, mostly falling over and over again. Cupcakes and arcade games were the highlights of the skating party!
