This weekend we celebrated Parker’s 4th Birthday! I know 4years old…TEAR! The theme of the party was Pinkalicious, based on the children’s book, about a little girl who loves everything PINK! I LOVE pink and Parker LOVES pink…perfect! I also love themes. I tend to go a bit overboard on themes…just a bit!
I made the entire family wear pink to the Party…even the boys…even the dogs! Yes I know, just a bit overboard, but Parker loves her doggies, and she thinks it is so much fun to dress them up. Sassy’s pink shirt was super comfy….in fact, she is still wearing it. Bailey, on the other hand, looked like a sausage in hers (I got the size that said it would fit a beagle, but they must have been referring to a skinny, in shape beagle!)
We had a pink table with yummy PINK foods…..PINIK Marshmallows, PINK Popcorn, Pink Wrapped Chocolates, PINK Lemonade, PINK candy sticks, PINK Pretzels, PINK Sixlets, PINK strawberry wafers, PINK Gumballs and of course PINK cupcakes to match the ones in the book! At the end of the party as the favor, the kids got a PINK bag to fill with their favorite PINK treats!
We also rented a bounce house which was a huge hit for the twenty-one kids in attendance (there were also 5 babies under the age of 1.) It was a full house but tons of fun!!
Sassy, getting lots of attention because she looked so cute in her pink shirt!
